Meet the husband-and-wife blues rock duo bringing authentic love and soulful sound to Ontario.
The story began long before the band that is fronted by powerhouse vocalist Hannah Faith and driven by Ken’s tasty guitar work. Growing up in the same small town, they always knew of each other, but when Ken heard Hannah sing for the first time at an open mic, he instantly knew she was the woman he’d marry and make music with.
Today, that connection fuels every show. The duo delivers electrifying performances that ignite stages by blending raw blues emotion with high-energy rock and roll, keeping audiences captivated with their undeniable chemistry. Their legacy is already being passed on, with their daughters joining in on select recordings and the occasional live appearance.
NuclearVibes has shared stages with Juno and Maple Blues Award winning artists and earned CommunityVotes Grey County nominations for Best Entertainer, Live Entertainment, and Local Band of 2025 - winning platinum in each category. Back Road is a folk/soft rock ballad with easy listening charm, built on finger style guitar riffs and rich vocals with vibrato and grace notes. It carries that timeless “us against the world” feeling - stripped down, heartfelt, and honest.
At it's core, this song tells our story. After just six months of dating, we got engaged and packed up Ken's pick up truck to start a new adventure in Quebec. The only French we learned was, "je ne parle pas français," but that's a story for a different song. Back Road is about two people who fall in love and chase their dreams together, even when the world seems to be rooting against them. It is a true and vulnerable reflection of who we are.
The lyrics paint picturesque images of the countryside, giving you a sense of wanderlust, and the grounding comfort of being with the one you love. Introspective yet hopeful, this song is for anyone who loves stripped-down music and a good love story.
As the last single before our debut album, Back Road is a snapshot of the beginning of our journey: two dreamers figuring it all out. It’s a beautiful milestone to share before we take our next big step.
